This is where I share my life, my struggles with working out and eating right and my love for running, bodybuilding, and my dog. While I try my best to focus on healthy foods the majority of the time, I have a lot of foods I love that are not the healthiest that seem to be added to my must-eat list. I try and eat them in moderation to be part of a balanced diet. I am not a ‘dieter’, I follow If It Fits Your Macros (IIFYM).
I started running in 2011 and I have been in love with it ever since. Not only does it help to keep me healthy, but it helps to clear my mind. I will never set records or be the superstar of the race. But I get out there and give it my all, that is all that matters to me.
When I started following IIFYM, I also started weightlifting and I have seen some amazing results. After losing 40#, I gained confidence that I never had before. I still lift heavy weights and it has made all the difference in my life.
I am proud to have introduced the Ambassador program for the Glass City Marathon in 2014 and serve as the head Ambassador. I have a team of Ambassadors each year that help to promote the race weekend.
