Focused & Relaxed

For the past week, I’ve started my days with devotionals and some Bible reading. Not only have I been more focused and relaxed each day, I find I am thinking about the devotional topic each day. This isn’t at all something I have done over the last decade. Something new that I am enjoying.

Last week this verse was part of my daily reading and it has stuck with me since then-and it’s incredibly timely to the events in my life:

‘Your old life is dead.
Your new life, which is your real life – even though invisible to spectators – is with Christ in God.
He is your Life. ‘
Colossians 3:3

Because it is true, my old life is dead, my new life has just begun.

On another note…I find this to be accurate to the letter.2015-09-07 19.39.25I haven’t had to do math harder than something I can do on a dollar store calculator since college.
And even then I only took it because it was mandatory. And I got a C.
FYI – I suck at math. Always have. Always will. And I am perfectly okay with that.

I think that not having math in my life also makes me focused and relaxed!!
Happy Monday, I’m off to the gym!

  1. I’ve been finding lots of uses for Algebra these days – homework help!! And flashbacks of conjunctions, prepositional phrases… luckily the math comes easy to me. Science and history – not so much.
