Wednesday’s Stray Thoughts

First off, I want to apologize for living under a rock these past few months.  I have NOT been running at all, and because of that I have gained some lots of weight. Even with the excess weight I shimmied myself into some decent looking attire and married this fabulously tall man:

Now we are supposed to live happily ever after.  Or not take a knife to each others throats or something like that.  The devil is in the details.
I went and officially changed my last name yesterday and so now I get to start to change my name on the little documents that pop up: car insurance, health insurance, emails, utility bills…this list goes on just about forever.

So, with my new weight gain I have boldly created a running plan for myself.  I hope that it will help me lose some weight, but even if it doesn’t it gets me running again, which is sorely needed.
This is my new mantra…

I am giving myself 3 months to drop 20 pounds.  Can I do it?  Yes.  Will I do it?  Let’s fucking hope so.

    I was a nerd and totally had a list of everything I needed to change my name on and I did it all like IMMEDIATELY. 🙂

  3. Honestly, and I wouldn’t even say this if I didn’t mean it, you look gorgeous in your photo. And congrats on being married…and umm…not taking a knife to each others’ throat! Much success to you both 🙂 I just have to say, I admire you goal, and I know you’ll do it. But I JUST finished reading a blog post from a girl I follow who is competing in a bikini competition soon, and she posted a pic of herself, and I thought, “Waaaah!” and quickly left, and did not leave a comment.
    Sooooo…my point…?…my point, right, my point, if I didn’t think you didn’t look superb in your picture, I wouldn’t say anything. You would not be reading this novel-length comment. 🙂
