Secondary Motivation.

Jeff and I worked outside for 2 hours yesterday in the 100* heat. Now, you could say that was stupid on our part but we have a laundry list of items to complete before the wedding…which is now in 43 days! ┬áSo we got a flower bed planted and mulched, trimmed up all of our shrubs and pulled a shitton of weeds.

I have been doing great at staying within my calorie goals each day and I have been working out each day…these are the things that I need to do in order to meet my goal to lose some weight for the wedding.

So, in order to keep my motivation going I am going to give myself a second day of motivation for this week…


  1. Ran a 5-Miler yesterday morning and it was absolutely frickin brutal.

    Spent the rest of the day working on our new home. We moved into a house and the work to be done is neverending! Does house/yard work count as a workout? I think between this and eating healthier I am going to see some progress here. I just have to !!!!

    • In this heat? Yes, yardwork totally counts! Jeff and I spent 3 hours outside yesterday in the 95+ heat and I know I lost some calories out there!! The house work is neverending, there is always something to be done.

      I ran 3 miles this morning and felt pretty good, took them slow since it was already muggy, but they were great! I have been bringing it!! WOHOO!
