2011 in Review

I’m not dead.  Or ignoring There Are Two Sides.
I was on a mandatory 3 day bus trip to attend the Military Bowl for work. Honestly, it was a fun trip.  I got to see some of the most amazing historical sights I have ever seen and experienced more history in 4 hours than I have in over 5 years.  Maybe even 30 years. History has never been my thing.

I’ll show you the beauty I witnessed in Washington D.C. later on but for now I wanted to recap my year. I am sure you are dying to hear about it.

Instead of a resolution I chose 1 word to describe what I wanted to accomplish for 2011: MOVE.

I ran in 3 half marathons.

I told you about the 1 Easter candy I can never pass up.  NEVER.

This was the last time I had my hair cut.  Seriously.  I have not had it cut since.

I learned my new Royal name in order to celebrate the Royal Wedding.

I became a FitFluential Ambassador for Toledo, Ohio!

Jeff and I moved .17 miles around the corner into our new house.

I was a part of National Swimsuit Confidence Week with Lands End.

We had 3 MASSIVE trees torn down in our yard.

Like an idiot, I fell down the stairs and bruised my ass for the next two months.

We found a family of dead mice trapped in our ductwork. Yum.

I treated myself to a new tattoo for my 30th birthday.

I created a list of 30 things to do while 30 years old.

My recent semi-diagnosis of being bi-polar.

We added a new family member. Bo, the Boston Terrier.

AAAAAANNNNNNNDDDD I bought myself a new car.

Sure.  This is in no way a comprehensive list and I am sure that many more life altering things happened to me this year but these are the ones I chose to remind you of.

Up next: Washington D.C. in review.

I hope you had a great 2011!
